Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) Airport Emergency Services (Rescue and Fire Fighting team) joined the Civil Defense Day celebrations from February 20-25. Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) announced that Bahrain International Airport (BIA) has been awarded the prestigious 5-Star rating by Skytrax, the world’s leading airport and airline rating organization, for the fourth consecutive year. This remarkable achievement underscores BAC’s continued dedication to providing exceptional services and facilities, solidifying BIA’s position among the world’s elite airports. The Skytrax audit, conducted in December 2024, evaluated BIA based on a comprehensive range of criteria, including departures, arrivals, transfers, airport facilities, customer service, security, immigration, retail, and food and beverage offerings. Following the Directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Bahrain International Airport is proud to announce the installation of a major stained glass artwork by internationally acclaimed artist Sir Brian Clarke, titled “Concordia”, which will commence this week. Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) successfully conducted a fire emergency evacuation exercise at the Central Utility Complex (CUC) at Bahrain International Airport. The exercise was designed to test the effectiveness of the fire emergency evacuation plan and ensure the readiness of all emergency responders. The drill involved personnel from BAC and Gulf Air Group, working in cooperation with Operations Directorate of the Public Security Presidency, Airport Police, Civil Defense, Customs, the National Committee for Disaster Management, and other government entities.
