🏆 At Ceva, we regularly organise internal awards around the world to recognise collective initiatives by our employees: the #ImpactAwards. 🇭🇺 This year, with more than 110 proposals, our colleagues from the Ceva Phylaxia campus in Hungary received the international award. Their idea: to modify part of an industrial machine to reduce waste production. Thanks to this innovation proposed by our employees, the amount of waste initially produced on this equipment was reduced to zero. Congratulations to the team for their exceptional idea and for winning the global Impact Award! #Sustainability #OnePlanet #OneCeva

💉At Ceva, we are innovating for the development of new forms of anti-infectives. We are committed to the prevention of infectious diseases, striving to reducing the use of antibiotics for animals’ treatments. 🌍 Ceva is one of the world leaders in the field of “tailor-made” vaccines, also known as #autogenousvaccines. This unique technology makes it possible to develop vaccines at the scale of a single farm or herd, or even for what are referred to as the minor animal species (turkeys, ducks, guinea fowl, etc.), thus making it possible to compensate for the lack of existing vaccine solutions. 🇫🇷 To strengthen our global position, Ceva officially integrated Filavie in 2023, a French company specialized in the research and production of biological solutions for all animals (fish, poultry, swine, ruminants, horses, etc.). #OneHealth #AntimicrobialResistance - Jean-Charles Tissot

✅ Occupational health, safety and environmental protection are top priorities for all Ceva employees 👥 With our EHS programmes across all our activities we protect the health of our employees, e.g. preventive measures such as regular medical check-ups, ergonomic workplace assessments and measures to reduce physically demanding tasks. Between 2022 and 2023, we observed a decrease in the frequency of work-related accidents with lost time, underlining the excellent work of our dedicated teams! 🌍 🐓 Ceva is proud to have sponsored the critical discussion on global poultry health hosted by the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) on October 22-23 in Paris 🇫🇷 Experts from around the world addressed the growing threat of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) and the crucial role that vaccination plays in protecting poultry production. Discussions focused not only on how vaccination improves animal welfare and protects wildlife, but also on the challenges associated with surveillance. It was an honor for Ceva to participate in this important dialogue organized by IABS - International Alliance for Biological Standardization and remains committed to sustainable #animalhealth solutions for the future. #HPAI #vaccination #poultryhealth #OneHealth #AvianInfluenza - Gwenaelle Dauphin - Christophe CAZABAN - Mustafa Seçkin SANDIKLI

🌍 Last year, we shared promising insights from the FAO , revealing how improved #animalhealth could significantly reduce livestock greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 10% 🌿 A recent study published by The Royal Society ("Improve animal health to reduce livestock emissions: quantifying an open goal") echoes the key role played by animal health in improving livestock environmental performance. However, the study reveals that the topic is not prioritized due to poor quantification of the benefits. The report proposes a framework with a rigorous methodology to quantify the link between animal health and greenhouse gas emissions, which can drive positive action, support cost-effective food production, and enhance animal welfare—a win-win for sustainability. This aligns perfectly with Ceva’s commitment to treat all animals, creating a rare win-win scenario for both the planet and the future of sustainable farming.
