From a rain-soaked track to record-breaking crowds, the F1 São Paulo had it all this weekend! The São Paulo Grand Prix was marked by dramatic weather changes and intense competition among drivers. The event carried forward the chaotic atmosphere set during qualifying, with rain adding to a tumultuous race filled with on-track incidents. This year saw record attendance, with over 200,000 spectators present throughout the weekend—a testament to Formula 1’s popularity in Brazil and the excitement surrounding the São Paulo Grand Prix. To support this large audience, MTD Water provided essential infrastructure, connecting public bathrooms, kitchens, and VIP areas with a total of 71 U2 pumps and maintaining a water buffer of 1,220 m3! As you may expect, the logistical effort was vital in accommodating the vast number of attendees comfortably. One of the highlights this year was the tribute to Brazil’s greatest sports idol, Ayrton Senna, and his 30-year legacy. The event organizers thrilled the crowd with the presence of Senna’s iconic McLaren, driven by Lewis Hamilton. Thanks to everyone involved for another great achievement in beautiful Brazil! With the next races already revving up, we’re taking a moment to celebrate our role at last weekend’s Formula 1 Mexico City Grand Prix! 🇲🇽 At the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, our MTD Water team made sure everything was in place for one of the year’s most anticipated events. To keep the energy high and fans refreshed, we delivered 120m³ of water across the event. Supplied by a fleet of 10m³ trucks and stored in 5m³ tanks, water was distributed via 72 streamlined 8mm pipes, all chilled and filtered for ultimate quality. Each hydration station drew long queues throughout the day, marking them as one of the most popular stops at the venue! Our thanks go out to a group of dedicated volunteers, who kept up with the demand by handing out cups and ensuring attendees stayed hydrated all day! ✨ Excited to share MTD Water’s involvement in the 𝙎𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙒𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 event series, which recently kicked off at Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert! 🌟 As part of our preparations for this breathtaking event, MTD delivered wastewater management solutions for VIP and VVIP restroom facilities. Our provision included three 16-foot VIP units and one 20-foot VVIP unit, ensuring guests had access to clean and comfortable facilities throughout the event. 🚀 The Showman's Show - The Outdoor Event Services Exhibition was a success once again! Despite the weather and therefore a bit less footfall this year, the MTD Water UK team—Tim, Will, Liam, with Monique joining from the Netherlands—used the event to strengthen relationships with long-term clients and explore new opportunities. Tim caught up with existing customers like Arena Europe, Middle East & Asia, Losberger De Boer and ESG, and also had the chance to visit our friends at Continest for their kit demonstrations. Adam Mitchell-Stinton, Steve Hill, Dani Mears, and Shaun Rob-Ronald joined us as well—perhaps drawn by the roaming dinosaurs from “RentaDinosaur” 🦖 A special shoutout to Liam Willis for his quick thinking when a Stegosaurus tried to take a sip from our bottle refill station! Meanwhile, Liam and Monique participated in a roundtable discussion led by Event Vision:2025 focusing on sustainability within the event industry. At South Star, our team did a great job in the first inaugural year. Our meticulous planning and execution meant everything ran smoothly from start to finish, earning praise from event organizers and inspections without a hitch. Down the coast at Ocean’s Calling 2024, our water services supported a festival that expanded significantly from last year. With over 55,000 music lovers filling the Ocean City boardwalk, our team ensured every element of the water infrastructure was in place. Staying cool on the green at the Presidents Cup! 🏆 As the excitement built for the recently concluded Presidents Cup, our MTD Water team proudly played its part in this prestigious golf event. Thanks to the provision of 10 temporary drinking stations, all attendees had access to clean and safe drinking water throughout the event. Each station at The Royal Montreal Golf Club was equipped with potable water tanks, designed to provide a reliable supply throughout the event, along with water chillers to assure the water stayed cold. An essential factor in helping the thousands of fans and participants stay cool during the thrill of the competition.
