    ⭐️ Day 2 of the AIT 10th Edition: diving into innovation and research Yesterday afternoon, we explored the STATE Innovation Center—a dynamic hub in the Brazilian startup ecosystem with over 1.5k members, where innovation meets purpose. Our participants connected with startups exchanged ideas with STATE Innovation Center residents (Plug and Play Tech Center), and gained insights from ecosystem leaders like Renata Torres, Jorge Pacheco, Olívia Boretti, Gabriela Aguiar, and Manon Dussaud. This was a valuable introduction to how BBrazil'stech and business communities come together to tackle urban challenges. 🌆💡 This morning, we delved deeper into BBrazil'sinnovation landscape with a visit to IPT - Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas (Institute for Technological Research), a pioneer in technological advancements since 1899. Our participants learned about opportunities for science-based startups in fields like Bio/Nanotech, Digital Tech, Decarbonization, Health & Life Sciences, and more. The program included sessions led by Alex Vallone, Filipe Da Silva, and Felipe Matos 🌈, followed by an inspiring pitch session and site visits to Bionano, Espaço Maker IPT, and Inteli. Presenting DAAV’s vision for a sustainable and inclusive mobility future was an incredible opportunity to share how we’re working to drive transformative change in the mobility sector. 👩🦼➡️💡🌱 The event brought together an impressive array of experts, innovators, and decision makers—each passionate about reshaping infrastructure to be more resilient, accessible, and green. From inspiring keynote presentations to insightful panel discussions, the day was filled with ideas that left me inspired and motivated. Connecting with leaders in sustainability and infrastructure development has deepened my commitment to DAAV's mission.     The second day of the Infrastructure Forum Brazil-Switzerland 2024 continued to deliver powerful insights and discussions with top-level experts and companies from Brazil and Switzerland. 🚆⚡ Here's a recap of yesterday's highlights: 🔷 Water and wastewater management took center stage as panelists from BNDES, Sabesp, and Swiss companies such as GWF AG and Grupo Endress+Hauser discussed the pathway to universal access to clean water by 2033. Precision in measurement and monitoring was emphasized as key to managing Brazil's vast water resources. 🔷 Decarbonizing the waste sector: Experts from São Paulo's Environmental Secretariat shared groundbreaking strategies to reduce methane emissions and transform solid waste into energy, providing actionable solutions for one of the most pressing environmental challenges. 🔷 Transport decarbonization was a key focus, with companies like Stadler and Grupo CCR discussing future projects and solutions to reduce emissions in Brazil's passenger transport systems. 🔷 The aviation and maritime sectors also had the spotlight today. Experts from Swiss International Air Lines, Zurich Airport Brasil, and Empa discussed solutions to decarbonize aviation, while representatives from MSC and Portonave explored how the maritime sector is evolving to become more sustainable. 🌱 🇨🇭🤝🇧🇷 As we closed Day 2, it was clear that the collaboration between Brazil and Switzerland is driving innovative solutions across a range of sectors, ensuring a more sustainable future for all.
