This line of specialty films will be tested on the Proseal America, Inc. Tribunal do CADE aprova venda da Terphane para o Grupo Oben Conforme divulgado em 01/09/2023, a Tredegar Corporation (NYSE:TG) assinou com a Oben Group um Acordo de Venda (Agreement to Sell) da @Terphane no Brasil e nos Estados Unidos. A concretização da operação estava vinculada a condições contratuais e aprovações de autoridades governamentais (anti-trust) em alguns países. Hoje, 16/10/2024, o Tribunal do CADE (Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econômica) aprovou por unanimidade a operação e a expectativa é que a Tredegar Corporation e o Grupo Oben concluam o processo de venda (closing) em 01/11/2024. Segue comunicado da Tredegar Corporation que complementa a informação. -------------------------------------------------------------------- As announced on 09/01/2023, Tredegar Corporation (NYSE:TG) signed an agreement with Oben Group to sell Terphane´s operations in Brazil and the U.S. The conclusion of the transaction was subjected to contractual conditions and approvals from government regulatory authorities in some South American countries.   Today, 10/16/2024, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (“CADE”) unanimously approved the transaction, and it is expected that Tredegar Corporation and Oben Group will finalize the sale process by 11/01/2024.   Attached is a statement from Tredegar Corporation, providing additional details.
