🚂 US$ 16 BILLION TO BE INVESTED IN BRAZILIAN RAILWAY PROJECTS 🚆   The Brazilian government is closing in on the last details of the National Railroad Plan, aimed at granting new stretches of railroad, with projects that cut across the Southeast, North and Northeast regions of the country. The package of concessions will be announced in February by the Ministry of Transport and provides for the offer of approximately 4,700 kilometers of railroads to the private sector. The government expects these projects to attract investments of around R$100 billion (16 US$ billion). In order to guarantee the viability of each operation, the government can contribute a slice of public funds equivalent to 20% of each project.   The key projects are: ➡️ North-South Railway Section: Açailândia (MA) to the port of Vila do Conde, in Barcarena (PA) Length: 477 kilometers ➡️Fico (Midwest Railway) and Fiol (West-East Integration Railway) Section: Lucas do Rio Verde (MT), Água Boa (MT), Mara Rosa (GO), Barreiras (BA), Caetité (BA) and Ilhéus (BA) Length: 2,400 kilometers ➡️Transnordestina Section: Eliseu Martins (PI) to Estreito (MA) Length: 600 kilometers ➡️Southeast Railway Ring Section: Vitória (ES) to Itaboraí (RJ) Length: 300 kilometers ➡️Ferrogrão Section: Sinop (MT) to Miritituba (PA) Length: 933 kilometers   The first meetings to present the projects will take place on February 5, 6 and 7 in São Paulo. The meetings will bring together representatives of companies and investors, members of the Ministry of Transport and the BNDES. Nineteen companies have already expressed an interest: Rumo Logística, VLI , Grupo CCR, MRS Logística, Vale, Arteris, EPR, Prumo, Portonave, BTG Pactual, XP Asset, Opportunity, Pátria Investimentos, Prisma Capital, CRCC, Concremat/CCCC, Mubadala Capital, Acciona and Sacyr.   Interested in connecting with these business opportunities?
