Sometimes, the best playground is nature itself. Research shows that spending time around trees can reduce stress, strengthen immunity and improve cognitive function. Rural women are often the pillars of their communities, yet their incredible contributions are too often overlooked. On this International Day of Rural Women, we honour the resilience, strength, and leadership of the women we work with—particularly the Maatla Mamas at LTP. In 2023 alone: - 100% of Maatla Mamas were lifted above the poverty line. - ⁠40% transitioned from unbanked to banked, gaining access to financial resources. - ⁠Playgroups led by these women have grown, reaching 515 children daily. Through continuous training, these women have become leaders in their communities, improving not only their mental well-being but also finding a renewed sense of purpose and fulfillment.
