As part of putting together the program for AgriFutures evokeAG, I have the absolute pleasure of speaking with all of the 100+ (!!) speakers who are joining us in Brisbane on the 18th and 19th of February. It's only Tuesday, and already my brain is swirling with incredible conversations, fascinating insights and amazing people I've chatted to so far this week. We have Adam Anders, Jack A Bobo, Michelle Colgrave and Georgie Aley speaking on the impacts of GLP-1 drugs, and how they could influence our economic, food and health systems globally and in Australia. I just finished a call with Andrew Kersley, David Nation, Simon Pearson, Michelle Lim and Elizabeth Brennan who will be discussing the impacts of robotics and AI on the future of agriculture - and how it might redefine the industry, impacting sustainability, innovation and workforce. And earlier today I spoke with Mark Gustowski, Nancy Schellhorn, PhD, Rob Russell, Sara Balawajder and Phil Morle about how Australia can seize this moment in agritech and shift our investment and capital structures to keep our innovations - and profits - on home soil.
