Taking a moment to reflect on a milestone in our company's journey - our pitch at Rice University for the Rice Alliance Energy Venture Day, 1.5 years ago. 🌟 At that time, we were simply armed with a compelling vision and a steadfast conviction in our eFuel+DAC technology's potential to make a positive impact on the world. 🌍 Standing before a panel of industry experts and investors, we presented our case, knowing that this opportunity could be a game-changer for our startup. Fast forward to today, and it's incredible to see how far we've come. Ten months can feel like a very long time in the life of a startup. If you're doing it right, there is constant growth, improvement, and expansion into what your potential truly is. Here's our CEO, Lark Meadow, with several startups and individuals working in sustainability at the Plug and Play Sustainability Expo in Calgary last November, which feels like years ago to our team. This shot was taken after Aeon Blue spoke about the importance of drop-in fuels on a hydrogen panel, and startups gave pitches to a live audience. Kristyn Coons really supported us and our vision then, and she still pops in to offer words of encouragement. Looking back it has become clear the steps that were taken in order to reach the success we have now. Plug and Play Tech Center is absolutely part of our journey.

Building a business is all about relationships. It's the relationships, and the trust within those relationships, that really grows a company. At the beginning of our story, we knew only a small handful of individuals in various industries who were kind enough to sit down and learn about our eFuel + DAC technology. We were clunky in our presentation, and they made us better. Today, we have graciously grown that network with companies and organizations who have learned about our technology and vision, one by one. We shared at a recent Ocean Connector hosted by COVE about our point source capture device we are developing to capture CO2 at the tailpipe of naval vessels. Aeon Blue won the “Capturing Maritime Greenhouse Gases Challenge”, a collaboration among Thales, COVE, ACOA - APECA, Aeon Blue, and Enginuity Inc. We are excited to announce that Aeon Blue was selected for the DAC Pioneer 2024 program by AirMiners.
