Thrilled to announce a new partnership between SAP and AIESEC that envisions a future where technology, youth leadership, and sustainability go hand in hand in fostering a new generation of socially responsible and technologically savvy leaders! The partnership was launched today at the College of Engineering & Computer Sciences, New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). NYIT students were also challenged today to test their technological and sustainability skills by playing "Business Builders"- a new gaming platform developed by HEC Montréal in close collaboration with SAP. Students competed and engaged in a scenario to evaluate sustainable business practices of companies based on the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) Methodology. Congratulations to Sameer Ramkissoon for coming out on top of this game. SAP and AIESEC look forward to joining forces and impacting youth across the globe! We did it: Over 100 million people in Europe and Latin America are now more aware of sustainable diets! Our Eat4Change initiative, bringing together 13 project partners from Europe and Latin America, has made significant headway in addressing the environmental impacts of food production and consumption. Check out the highlights: 🌍 Raised awareness among over 100 million Europeans and 2 million people in Latin America about sustainable food choices, and encouraged them to shift towards more plant-based diets. ️️⚖️ Reached over 540 MEPs with concrete policy requests, organized 42 youth-MEP meetings, and contributed to the Together4Forest campaign, resulting in an EU ban on products linked to deforestation. 💡 Trained over 1,000 young leaders and 200 youth workers, and supported over 300 youth-led action projects. 💼 Worked together with over 1,200 companies and other organizations to improve production practices and make sustainable food choices more accessible. Global food production and consumption are the single largest human pressures on nature. Together they generate more than a quarter of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions globally. Changing food systems takes time, but we've seen incredible enthusiasm for sustainable diets. We're making a difference, one meal at a time.
