The important need in capital markets to address the lack of systemic climate risk information, and how it puts at risk investment capital. We identified a clear gap in understanding how climate risk can impact the already volatile financial markets. How did the Dobson Centre play a role in Alter Climate as we know it today? The Dobson Centre played an important role in accelerating developments at Alter Climate by putting us in front of critical judges and refining our approach to make the most out of the expert feedback before presenting to VCs. What is the core internal capability Alter has utilized to develop its successful growth? The convergence of multidisciplinary expertise in addressing aspects of the climate crisis has been a cornerstone of our strategy. Our team includes very bright minds aligned with the mission of Alter Climate.
