🇬🇧 This week marked an important step towards UK market entry for Lifeyear as we met with key stakeholders in the UK healthcare system and discussed market access partnerships for next year. 🤝
We started in #Manchester, where we had super interesting meetings with Health Innovation Manchester , Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, The Manchester Metropolitan University, Accenture, Quiddity Health and Squire Patton Boggs. In the evening Estonian Honorary Consul to Leeds Prof Adam Beaumont DL hosted the delegation at 20Stories with beautiful views over Manchester. It was amazing to be back after 15 years of graduating from the The University of Manchester 🤓
Our journey then led us to #London, where we had a full day of sessions with Barts Life Sciences, Imperial College London, MedCity and London & Partners and Barts Health NHS Trust. In the evening we were hosted by Estonian Ambassador H.E. Mr Viljar Lubi and the Estonian Embassy team who had arranged a meeting with UK investors and partners.
We then travelled to Oxford for our graduation from the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust accelerator program. It has been an amazing learning journey over the past 6-months where we had the privilege to work with world-class physicians, scientists and NHS experts Samir Khan PhD, Jim Gabriel, Alex Pitcher, Fred Kemp, Ed Jaspers, Megan Morys-Carter, David Walliker and many others.
The official program may have come to an end but our journey to the UK market as Oxford alumni is only starting. We are especially proud to welcome Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a shareholder in Lifeyear, recognising our potential to transform cardiovascular care in the UK and beyond.
