What is an ibogaine experience like? Ibogaine, an atypical psychoactive, induces diverse effects that vary with dosage, individual differences, and each unique experience. The effects of ibogaine vary from person to person, some finding them hyper-realistic and profound, while others may struggle to recall or feel discomfort. A therapeutic dose of ibogaine typically takes 1-3 hours until the onset, including visions and physical sensations.
