As part of the CUSMA agreement, which came into force in 2020, Canada, the United States, and Mexico agreed to a formal review at least every six years after its entry into force. AMC members export over 80 per cent of their equipment to the US, representing approximately $3 billion in sales annually. Any disruption to this important trading relationship would cause substantial loss to Canadian businesses and the family-supporting jobs they create. The federal government must do everything in its power to ensure that Canadian export-oriented businesses are protected, that existing trade agreements remain in place and that no additional tariffs or taxes are added as barriers to the Canadian economy. #CdnAg #FarmToFuture #CdnPoli
