As part of ANS Exploration Corp.'s plans to expand into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Frank Bierlein and Richard Belcher were recently out in the Kingdom. After some successful meetings in Jeddah with key personnel at the Saudi Geological Survey, they undertook a reconnaissance trip up to the northwest of the country. Despite some hot conditions this time of year, the team saw some amazing geology and ground-truthed some historic locations and recently generated Remote Sensing targets. The data collected will be fed back into the regional targeting programme and used to better understand the geological setting and mineral potential within a mineral systems framework. #ArabianNubianShield #ANS #mineralexploration

Our team has just returned from a successful reconnaissance trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During this trip, we had productive meetings with the Saudi Geological Survey and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources. We visited areas with potential VMS-style mineralization and saw several promising outcropping sulfide anomalies. Check out some of the highlights in the photos below! Recently, the team were out undertaking regional stream sediment sampling across the licence portfolio to aid with target generation. The initial stage was a sampling orientation survey over and around a known mineralised prospect to help optimise the upcoming surveys. Samples were taken from around 30 locations across different catchments to identify the preferred stream order and sampling density. Multiple samples were then take at each locality to assess different trap sites, site/sample variance and minimum sample weight requirements. Samples were then sieved to various fraction ranges (<2 mm to >0.063 mm) to optimise fraction size. Samples were then prepared and analysed in-house.
