Awalé Resources is a gold exploration company focused on high-grade deposits in the jurisdiction of Cote d’Ivoire.

About us

Awalé Resources is a gold exploration company focussed on the discovery of large high-grade deposits in the underexplored jurisdiction of Cote d’Ivoire. West Africa is now accepted as one of the world’s great gold provinces, and is the largest Paleoproterozoic gold producing region, with a near 10,000 tonne gold endowment. Cote d’Ivoire contains 33% of the prospective Birimian greenstone belts in west Africa, but less than 10% of total gold resources, making it an ideal location for new gold discoveries.

  • What do the recent news from our 100%-owned ground mean? Simply put, the news means we are on the cusp of a potential new gold discovery! "We followed the same structural trend and found new anomalies of a similar tenor to our BBM discovery", Awalé Resources (TSX-V: ARIC) CEO Andrew Chubb explained in an interview with Investing News Network. • We're on the cusp of a new potential gold discovery on our 100%-owned property! On the same trend and only 4 kilometres away from our BBM discovery (2.4 g/t AuEq over 75m), we've uncovered a large gold footprint, with peak value of 1.3 grams gold. Awalé Resources (TSX-V: ARIC) CEO Andrew Chubb explains how we did it in the video below. Essentially, the termites burrow ≈40-metre-deep holes for us and bring samples to surface. It's a very low-cost yet effective sampling methodology, which we also used to make our BBM discovery. The discovery hole at BBM was drilled under the same 1.2 g/t gold termitaria sample. The structural trend is the same as BBM. The late intrusive rocks are similar to BBM. We are very excited to follow up on this new target given its proximity and similar characteristics to BBM. • Why has Cote d'Ivoire gained so much attention from mining & exploration companies recently? - Strong regulatory framework - Strong infrastructure - Geological potential - Socioeconomic potential - Govt commitment to growth Let's explain. 1. Strong Regulatory Framework Côte d’Ivoire has long been a model of stability for the Economic Community of West African States alliance (ECOWAS). The legal system, based on French civil law, provides an investor-friendly environment with a well-recognised framework. 2. Strong Infrastructure One of the most developed nations in West Africa with: - 85,000km of roads, - 2 seaports, including the second-largest port in West Africa, - 7 airports, - 70-80% electricity penetration, - 140% mobile penetration, and - multiple industrial zones. 3. Geological Potential West Africa, a globally significant gold producer, holds +300M oz of gold, with the number of gold mines doubling since 2012. Côte d'Ivoire, despite having 33% of the Birimian Greenstone Belt, holds only 10% of that gold, showing its untapped potential. 4. Mining The region has attracted numerous mining companies due to its geological potential & favorable investment climate. The government has been open to partnerships with international mining companies like Newmont, Barrick, Endeavour, Fortuna, and many others. 5. Socioeconomic Potential Côte d'Ivoire's economy is led by cocoa exports and growing sectors like textiles, agribusiness, and mining. With a mostly youthful population, the country has a great labor force, offering considerable potential for various industries and services. 6. Skilled Labor Côte d'Ivoire is investing in education and vocational training to boost skilled labor, particularly in sectors like mining and manufacturing. This focus on human capital development will ensure the long-term sustainable growth in the region. 7. Growth Outlook Cote d’Ivoire’s future growth outlook is very promising. The country’s economic diversification efforts, infrastructure development, and investment-friendly policies are expected to continue contributing to sustained growth, as seen in the chart below. 8. Investment Incentives The Ivorian government actively encourages foreign direct investment with favorable tax regimes, incentives for the mining industry, and streamlined procedures to set up businesses. Special economic zones and industrial parks provide further incentives. 9. Security Since the democratic election of President A. Outtara, Côte d’Ivoire has been a model of security, stability, and safety. Over the last decade, the government has taken serious measures to enhance security and stability, making it a safe environment for investment. 10. Safety Côte d'Ivoire has recently strengthened its security infrastructure, ensuring key investment regions remain safe. With improved border controls and ECWOAS cooperation, the country offers a stable and secure environment for economic growth and foreign investment.
