  • At Backwoods Security Services, we are proud to observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30. Let's take the time to reflect and educate ourselves on the painful legacy of residential schools in Canada. We will honor Bill C-5 by providing our employees with the opportunity to learn and grow from this history. As we strive to empower Indigenous people and communities, we must also acknowledge the harm done by the residential school system. On Orange Shirt Day, we proudly wear our shirts to affirm our commitment to ensuring that every child matters. Reconciliation is about creating a more inclusive society for Indigenous Peoples, and we all have a role to play. Use this day to attend an event virtually or speak with elders to learn and reflect. Let's work together towards healing and justice. #TruthandReconciliation #OrangeShirtDay #EveryChildMatters #NDTR
