👏 Congratulations to Ballard partner, large-scale hydrogen infrastructure developer HDF Energy, for advancing the global energy transition with its innovative Renewstable® Barbados (RSB) flagship project – which has been officially endorsed by the European Commission and the Government of Barbados. With Barbados setting ambitious emissions targets, RSB - #PoweredByBallard - will increase the existing renewable energy penetration on the national grid by close to 50%. Supported by the EU’s #GlobalGateway investment initiative, RSB is the first #GreenHydrogen power plant project in the Caribbean and the world's second hydrogen power plant program after HDF Energy's CEOG project in French Guiana, which also utilized Ballard’s #FuelCell technology.
