🍋 How sweet is this? 🍋 Brooklyn and Harrison turned their lemonade stand into a fundraiser and have donated the proceeds to support our programs! Their kindness and generosity have made a real difference in the lives of local youth, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Huge thanks to these young community heroes for their hard work and big hearts! 💙👏

Last Thursday we celebrated 50 years of Big Sisters of London. Our gathering included past and current board members, committee members, staff and supporters all connected by their shared belief of the power of mentorship. At the event we heard from Big Sisters Jayne, and Little Sister Nicole who remain connected decades later, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. We walked down memory lane and reminisced about snow volleyball tournaments, smoke-filled bingo halls, and the Barbara Rankin Golf Classic ft. burgers & fudgesicles. As we look ahead to the next 50 years of empowering youth in our community we are asking for your help. To secure our funding and guarantee ongoing support for generations of youth to come, we have launched a legacy campaign. We have already received commitments for over $25,000 from former Board Members and Staff. Please help us reach our goal of $50,000 for 50 years by donating to our legacy campaign today. 🔗https://lnkd.in/gK7DYS-w

On September 30th, we recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation—a day to honor the children who never returned home from residential schools, as well as the survivors, their families, and communities. Today, we stand together to reflect on this painful chapter of history, acknowledge the resilience of Indigenous peoples, and commit to learning, healing, and supporting a future of reconciliation. 🧡

Mentorship is more than just guidance—it’s about building meaningful connections that change lives. Marc’s journey from early days to becoming a thriving entrepreneur was powered by the support of a mentor. His experience shows how mentorship can unlock potential, build confidence, and foster success. 🚀🌟 For Marc, mentorship was the key to growth and achievement. Imagine what it could mean for someone you mentor! 💭 Let’s make a BIG difference together.
