BC Place is proud to host Canada's first-ever professional women's soccer match, as Vancouver Rise FC takes on Calgary Wild FC in their inaugural match. This milestone is a testament to the incredible growth of women's sports and the athletes and advocates who continue to break barriers. We are proud to announce that the 2024 BC Place Community Benefit Program has raised approximately $2 million for important charitable causes across the province, through the donation of four suites and 100+ tickets to Taylor Swift The Eras Tour. Launched this fall, the BC Place Community Benefit Program leverages our unique assets to empower registered charities in British Columbia. By providing local charities with access to BC Place events, the BC Place Community Benefit Program aims to amplify their fundraising efforts and support causes that matter most to the community, fostering a culture of giving back and creating lasting impact. We're ready for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at BC Place! Earlier today, representatives from BC Place, City of Vancouver, the Vancouver Police Department and TransLink hosted the media for a technical briefing to provide details about preparations for the concerts. The VPD Mounted Unit also made a special appearance, decked out in their own friendship bracelets!

On behalf of PavCo, Vancouver Convention Centre and BC Place, we are saddened to hear about the passing of John Horgan, former Premier of British Columbia. Our teams and venues extend our heartfelt sympathies to Mr. Horgan's loved ones, and we are grateful for the various opportunities to work alongside him. Last night, both of our venues went dark to honour and share our condolences for Mr. Horgan. We will remember his impactful legacy and the connections that he made with our province's communities.
