Their visit provided an opportunity to showcase our new facility, including our repair and maintenance center, tool-building operations, and our global shipping and logistics hub. CHALLENGE: A major operator in the UK North Sea could not gain access to the wellbore of a producing well due to scale build up in the wellhead “Christmas Tree” (XT), confirmed visually by camera. They were looking for a treatment method that could effectively remove the scale without damaging any components of the wellhead.  SOLUTION: Remove scale by pulsing downward using electro-hydraulic pulsing technology OUTCOME: Up to 1.5” thick scale was removed over the treated intervals, as confirmed by camera images and the customer now had access through the XT into the main wellbore. Last week, our team had the privilege of attending the 2025 GeoTHERM expo & congress in Germany, where we showcased our groundbreaking BLUESPARK® Technology. This event provided an incredible platform to connect with industry leaders and demonstrate how our high-pulsed power technology is revolutionizing wellbore scale removal in geothermal operations.   Through live demonstrations, we illustrated how high-pulsed power offers a safe, efficient, and sustainable solution for wellbore scale removal and cleaning well screens—helping to optimize geothermal well performance while minimizing environmental impact. Adding to the excitement, Rochelle Longval, our Vice President of Geothermal, delivered an insightful technical presentation, offering a deeper dive into other means of scale removal while highlighting the benefits and applications of electro-hydraulic pulse technology. We were also thrilled to highlight our strategic partnership with HP Well Screen B.V., reinforcing our shared commitment to advancing BLUESPARK® Technology as a geothermal solution. This collaboration marks the beginning of many exciting opportunities ahead.
