Even rain couldn’t dampen the spirit at Eurobodalla's 𝘞𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘕𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 event in East Coast Australia, where over 100 community members braved the elements to attend a screening of Brave Blue World! 🌧️ A heartfelt thank you to Eurobodalla Shire Council and Sustainability Project Officer Kirsten Pitot de la Beaujardiere for organising such a powerful evening. The night featured a stunning water dance by 𝘔𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘥𝘩𝘢 𝘎𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘢, and despite the downpour, the audience stayed until the final credits—showing just how captivating and resonant the message of water innovation truly is. 💧 Our deepest thanks to Water Environment Federation, GRUNDFOS, Procter & Gamble, AB InBev, Sciens Water, BlueTech Research, and our Impact Partners: Water.org, WWF, Imagine H2O, XPV Water Partners, and Yokogawa. Last Wednesday Alfa Laval hosted a screening of the movie “Our Blue World” with an introduction to the movie from our Water Industry Manager Eline Suijlen.   The documentary highlights the increasing challenges posed by climate change, such as extreme droughts, floods, fires, loss of biodiversity, pollution, and global warming. It emphasizes that through a small shift in consciousness and practice, we can bring about significant positive changes to regenerate life on Earth. Another spectacular film festival in the books 🥇 ! Thank you to Newport Beach Film Festival for selecting and screening 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 🌊 . This was the film's California Premiere, and what better way place to tell the story of water than in Newport Beach, a city deeply connected to water and in a state with great need for innovative water solutions. We were starstruck to have received recognition from Mayor Will O'Neill for our film and were lucky to have also partnered locally with Newport Bay Conservancy, who shared meaningful actions the audience could take to save water in the community 🌱 💙 . We are grateful to the team behind 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 including Director Ruán Magan, Executive Producers Douglas Blush and Paul O'Callaghan, Producer Aoife Kelleher, Consulting Producer Hope Frank, Marketing Lead Lily Chen, Line Producer Kathriona Devereux, and Impact Campaign Lead Sophia D. 👏 .
