We are thrilled to share our latest work with Wrensilva! Founded in 2016, Wrensilva builds HiFi record consoles combining artisanal craftsmanship with advanced sound engineering. The blend of classic design with vinyl and digital listening modes creates an unparalleled home listening experience. With their new collection of redesigned consoles, they asked us to elevate their brand expression. The project was truly holistic, encompassing product branding, visual identity and voice, art direction and collateral design as well as a new e-commerce website created in collaboration with Executive Agency. Dancing with the Sans • New Logo and Identity for The National Ballet of Canada by Bruce Mau Design — 🧑💼 ABOUT THE CLIENT Established in 1951, The National Ballet of Canada is one of the world’s premier ballet companies, renowned for its diverse repertoire, including full-length classics and contemporary work. Founded by Celia Franca, who remained its artistic director for 24 years, the company of 70 dancers has been led by artistic director Hope Muir since 2022. Featuring its own orchestra, the National Ballet performs three extended engagements at Toronto’s Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts each year, in addition to national and international tours, with appearances in Paris, London, Moscow and St. Petersburg, Hamburg, New York City, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and San Francisco. • 🦸 FROM BRUCE MAU DESIGN “In our research, we came across the concept of the ‘uncertainty gap’ as a barrier to attending the ballet. New audiences are unsure of what to expect from a performance and if they will enjoy it, leading many to feel that ballet is not for them. To help bridge the gap, we created a wordmark that doubles as a storytelling device. We can describe themes and stories in a narrative that flows directly from the wordmark. The National Ballet of Canada “invites”, “welcomes”, “presents” as a collective entity, playing an active part in lifting the curtain and drawing us in.” • 🧑💻 BRAND NEW’S REACTION Overall, this has a strong, dramatic, and energetic presence and the individual elements are a great mix that present NBOC as both a classic ballet company as well as a contemporary one, where you can experience the best of both worlds. — #reviewed #branding #identity #2024 #brandnewbyucllc #beforeandafter #culture #ballet #canada #lowercase #photography #sanswserif Link: https://lnkd.in/gZQbeTw6
