Yesterday, Canada’s leading innovation organizations joined forces for ‘Reverse Pitch: Canadian Ecosystem for Accessibility Startups’. This informative event brought together powerful insights, programs, and resources for accessibility startups committed to making a difference. With 1.6 billion people globally living with disabilities, accessibility is the largest untapped market - yet entrepreneurs in this field often lack the resources and opportunities available in the broader startup ecosystem. Together, we can change that to build a stronger, more inclusive future for all and #EnableEveryone 🌟! Special thanks to KITE UHN (Toronto Rehabilitation Institute) for hosting us and our amazing presenters 👏: Garth Smith (Ontario Brain Institute) Tyler Redublo (Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation) Sydney Taylor (AGE-WELL NCE Inc.) Ian McCarter (MaRS Discovery District) Anthony Palma (KITE, University Health Network) Andrew Forshner (Praxis Spinal Cord Institute) And a shout-out to our Halloween costume winners 🎃! #AccessibilityTech #DisabilityTech #CanadianStartups
