We honor and support our Canadian Veterans - the heroes who fought to defend our freedom.
About us
It's estimated that 10,000 Canadian Veterans regularly use homeless shelters, unable to meet their basic needs like food, clothing, and shelter. Canadian Legacy Project, a registered charity (registration #82478 8202 RR0001), aims to support these Veterans through various programs designed to assist them in their daily lives. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, the Canadian Legacy Project is able to direct the majority of its raised funds straight into Veteran support programs. While there are some necessary accounting and legal expenses associated with operating a registered charity, the organization proudly allocates 93% of donations directly to helping Veterans in need. These Veterans have provided Canadians with the freedoms we enjoy every day, and it is the Canadian Legacy Project's goal to give back and support these Canadian heroes.

By Reginald Argue, Canadian Peacekeeping Veteran We stand united upon the hallowed ground, paying homage to the few who gave the greatest sacrifice for all. Their bravery binds us together in a shared commitment to honor their memory. We close our eyes and still witness the innocence of those who answer the call and go off to battle against society’s bogeymen. By the bravery of these few, they refused to let bogeymen continue to hide in the darkest shadows of humankind. We remember these few with smiles and laughter, as they always selflessly stood up for others who could not. We remember their gaze, filled with a searing desire to keep the darkness of others at bay and away from our midst. These few individuals then borrowed and donned capes from the superheroes we love and blazed onward, taking our burdens and worries upon their shoulders. This brought hope to those who once felt alone and lost, providing a voice to those who could not be heard. Through their sacrifice, these few have left an indelible mark on our hearts and society, paving the way for a future where everyone among us is embraced, and the light of heaven can be seen throughout the land. Their absence is a constant reminder of the price of freedom and the depth of their sacrifice.
