We are transitioning to #RenewableEnergy, but not fast enough. Communities across the globe are STILL without access to clean, affordable & reliable electricity. Collaboration and relationship building across movements is imperative to meet the moment we are in. To tackle the interconnected crises facing the world today, we must work together. 💚 To kick off our Climate Action Convergence last month, The Organizing Center walked us through the theoretical and practical building blocks of strong coalitions. These thought-provoking workshops provided us with tools to overcome common challenges coalitions can face, while offering opportunities to listen, reflect, connect, practice, and learn from one another.

In her recent op-ed, our Youth Policy Assistant Malaika Collette highlights the experience of youth in the climate movement, and urges us all to stand with youth to continue the collective fight for ambitious climate action. ✊ https://lnkd.in/gfNehiJj

Thank you to Melody Adejugbagbe, our wonderful Summer Event Coordinator Assistant! Melody joined our team this summer to help our Membership & Movement-Building Manager Lauren Latour organize our #ClimateActionConvergence, which took place last week in Tiohtiá:ke (Montreal). We couldn’t have pulled it off without her positive energy and tireless work! We’re sad to say goodbye to Melody as she returns to her studies, but can’t wait to see what she does next.
