Today the Yukon and Federal governments announced $40M for pre-feasibility work on an interconnection between the isolated Yukon power grid and the rest of North America. This project, funded from the Critical Minerals Infrastructure Fund, is key to unlocking the vast critical mineral potential present in Yukon. Cascadia's Catch, Mack's Copper and Milner projects are all located proximate to the existing power grid in Yukon, and will benefit significantly from this work. Furthermore, it is a very clear statement of support from all levels of government for the future of mining in Yukon. Results are still pending from our summer exploration at these projects, as well as our inaugural drill program in Northern BC. Have you ever wondered what the gold content of a rock sample looks like? The photos below show our 1,065 g/t gold outcrop sample, and the gold remaining after the fire assay process was completed by the lab. This morning we announced the discovery of very high-grade epithermal gold-silver mineralization at our Catch Property in Yukon. An outcrop sample returned 1,065 g/t gold with 267 g/t silver at the Amp Zone, approximately 1 km north of the Spark Zone diamond drilling. Crews are back on site at Catch following up on this and other prospecting targets, while Phase 2 drilling is underway at the Spark Zone - stepping out on porphyry copper-gold mineralization and vectoring towards the core of the system. #gold #copper #exploration #juniormining

Check out photos from mobilization and commencement of drilling earlier this week. It's always a good sign when you can set the drill on top of a large gossan with copper-gold mineralization at surface!

Crews are on site and drilling is underway at our PIL Property in BC's Toodoggone region! This is Cascadia's first drill program at PIL, building on historical work by our option partner, Finlay Minerals Ltd and results of our exploration over the last couple field seasons. Drilling will take place at the PIL South target, where a TITAN deep IP survey last summer returned the classic signature of a copper porphyry at depth, below historical holes. We're excited to have the drill turning and evaluating what may be the untested potassic core of a porphyry system! Drilling is well under way at our Catch copper-gold porphyry discovery in Yukon! The first hole of 2024 is now complete, with greater sulphide abundance (pyrite-chalcopyrite) than observed in last year's drilling. Make sure you check out this morning's news release for more details. Given this success we are looking at extending the drill program to step out further on the Spark Zone target. It's critical to remember this is only the third drill hole ever completed at this target, which represents on of North America's newest copper-gold porphyry discoveries. We see immense potential at Catch, and look forward to continuing drilling at our known targets while simultaneously completing additional prospecting on peripheral parts of the property. Great work by the teams at New Age Drilling Solutions and Horizon Helicopters getting gear to site and drilling underway safely and smoothly! While the Catch Property is accessed by helicopter, it is only 10 km from the Robert Campbell highway, a paved, all-season road next to a high-voltage powerline. Our crews stay in the nearby town of Carmacks, allowing for quick startup, keeping costs low, and supporting the local community. Crews have mobilized to site and drilling is now underway at our Catch Property in Yukon! Drilling will step out on last year's discovery of a brand new copper-gold porphyry target. The first hole is targeting a stronger and broader portion of the IP anomaly, stepping out 300 m from hole CA-23-002, which returned 116.60 m of 0.31% copper with 0.30 g/t gold. This year's drilling will also test resistivity features at depth that could be representative of broader zones of potassic alteration, which carried higher grades in 2023 drilling. #copper #gold #exploration #Yukon #juniormining
