Anya’s love of nature and passion for research encouraged her to continue her education through a PhD studying reclamation of high elevation grasslands following metallurgic coal mining. Passionate about science communication and supporting underrepresented individuals in STEM, Anya dedicates her time outside of graduate school connecting the public with the environment and reclamation research, and advocating for diversity in STEM. #womeninstem #womxninstem #diversityinstem #stem #STEMrepresentation #boardmember
