Had a fantastic time at the BC Climate Resilience Summit in Vancouver representing ClimateWest! Exploring critical themes such as climate scenario planning, health impacts of climate change, and the pivotal role that leadership plays in adaptation planning for our communities. A key takeaway was the necessity for strategic investments in adaptation today to prepare for current and future climate scenarios that use the most up to date and accurate data available. This proactive approach not only saves costs in the long term but also cultivates a more resilient society as whole. Grateful to the speakers, panelists, and participants for their insightful inputs during the summit.
