Massage Therapists of Alberta, We are excited to announce that the Alberta Working Group for the Regulation of Massage Therapy of Alberta has completed the work requested by the Health Minister, and through the Transitional Council for the College of Massage Therapy (TC-CMTA) has submitted the application Formal Submission Toward the Regulation of Massage Therapy under the Health Professions Act to the Minister on October 15, 2024. In order to provide transparency and education to members of the profession on what is included in the application, and in preparation for the four Massage Therapist Information Sessions: Regulation of Massage Therapy in Alberta events upcoming we are excited to provide the following: ●      A Copy of the Application – which can be found here (https://lnkd.in/g_fmcQx8) ●      A Video prepared by the Alberta Working Group to explain the details of the application - https://lnkd.in/gnhNcnAf ●      A link to submit questions to be addressed in the meetings AFTER you have reviewed the application and video – https://lnkd.in/g59hx7m6 We encourage members of the profession to review the application and watch the video before submitting any questions via the above link, and prior to attending one of the events. There will be opportunity for live questions at each of these events as well, however the Working Group wanted to provide you with the opportunity to submit your questions beforehand so that they might better be able to answer them in the meetings.
