Today is National Indigenous Peoples Day (NIPD), a day for all Canadians to celebrate the accomplishments, history, and culture of Indigenous peoples. It is also a reminder of the work yet to be done for reconciliation in Canada. We believe that one of the first steps toward reconciliation is knowledge. This is why we ensure that all our employees take time to learn and grow as individuals by participating in ongoing Indigenous awareness training. The more we know, the closer we move toward a brighter, more informed future. Looking for a way to celebrate Indigenous Peoples? Check out this link from the Office of the Treaty Commissioner for a list of all the NIPD events planned across our province: https://lnkd.in/gDWrBqUJ
