Meet Sheldon Witt. Operations Manager, singer, and dedicated husband and dad. Sheldon brings hands-on experience to the table. He began his career back in 2011 as a Draftsman (a structural steel detailer) with Viking Chains. With this experience combined with his friendly, approachable personality, he was quickly tapped for an opportunity in management. Since then he has continuously learned about all aspects of Connexus and it is this deep knowledge of our products and the solutions they bring to our customers, that makes Sheldon so successful. He attributes the culture here at Connexus for the loyalty we enjoy with our team and our customers. “We work hard but we also like to have fun,” he says. “The work environment is wonderful and at any given time you can hear someone laughing or singing.” More than the enjoyment of a great workplace, Sheldon also says that the leadership here encourages professional growth. “I’ve had the privilege of working with some amazing leaders over my time here that have had lasting impact on me as a leader and employee.” Sheldon created a Central Order Desk as well as a digital sales file system that streamlines our process, making it more efficient for our customers. His approach is perfectly suited to Connexus. He is collaborative with customers when we need to find a solution together, and if you’ve worked with him, you already know, that those phone calls usually end in laughter. He and his wife Bethel are deeply devoted to their two wonderful kids and family is the foundation of his life away from work. An accomplished musician and singer (yep, he was even in a metal band when he was younger… but has softened the set list a little nowadays when he sings in church) he also loves to BBQ and can be seen at Connexus events with apron and sauce at the ready.
