This day is dedicated to honoring the children who never returned home from residential schools, as well as the Survivors, their families, and communities. It is a solemn reminder of the painful history and ongoing impacts of these institutions. In solidarity, we wear orange to remember and acknowledge the inter-generational impacts of residential schools.
