A Historic $4M Gift for Community Health! We’re thrilled to announce a transformational $4-million donation to Covenant Health Canada —the largest single gift ever received by Covenant Foundation. This incredible generosity will help fund a brand-new family medicine clinic at the upcoming Covenant Wellness Community in southeast Edmonton, ensuring integrated, patient-centered care for Albertans. By expanding access to community-based healthcare, this clinic will help reduce hospital strain and provide care where it’s needed most—continuing a long-standing commitment to compassionate care. That commitment began over 160 years ago when the Grey Nuns arrived in Alberta in 1863, bringing with them a bold vision to serve those in need. Their pioneering spirit laid the foundation for the healthcare system we know today, and this gift is a testament to how their legacy continues to shape the future of care in our communities. We are deeply grateful to the generous donors who believe in this vision and are making a lasting impact on healthcare in Alberta. Together, we’re building a healthier future!
