I am extremely excited to announce that applications are open for the 2025 Evaluation Capacity Case Challenge! This is an annual experiential learning event that McGill University's Max Bell School of Public Policy has hosted since 2023 to offer current students and early-career professionals (up to 5 years post grad) with the opportunity to learn how to strengthen evaluation capacity in organizations, and for one case-site organization to receive insights from the brightest minds in evaluation across Canada and the US about how they can strengthen their capacity to support high-quality evaluation. Details about this case challenge, including highlights from prior years, are available on our website: https://lnkd.in/g5aCi27U.   The 2025 challenge will take place on May 30th and 31st in Montreal, Quebec. Individuals interested in being considered for participation on an evaluation capacity building (ECB) team may work or study in any disciplinary area and are eligible to apply if they reside in Canada or the US for most of the year and will have completed an introductory course in evaluation (formal academic course or professional development workshop) prior to January 2025. Organizations interested in applying to serve as the case site can come from any sector (i.e., public, private, philanthropic), and are eligible to apply if they are based in Canada or the U.S. (headquarters office); aim to improve a social issue through their work; include equity, diversity and inclusion as central considerations in their work; and do some evaluation (either internally or through external evaluators). There is no fee for individuals or organizations to participate.   The deadline for both application processes is November 30, 2024. - Participants interested in joining an ECB team can apply here: https://lnkd.in/eGmqwrNx - Organizations interested in potentially serving as the case site can apply here: https://lnkd.in/gXqNMA9T Please help us to spread the word to those who may be interested and feel free to reach out should you have any questions!
