    Export your Figma designs into usable code and SVGs in no time Go to the Export section in the Inspector panel. Choose the SVG option in the dropdown. Below, you have the option to preview the file. Click the Export button to save the SVG file to your computer. Text will also be exported as glyphs, which means it cannot be edited in the SVG file. To preserve text editing, make sure to uncheck the Outline Text setting when exporting. Strokes will also be exported as fills. Exporting code from Figma allows you to save the CSS styles and layout of your design as a text file or copy it to your clipboard. Turn Dev Mode on. Now you have the option to display codes in CSS, Swift and UIKit for iOS, as well as Compose and XML for Android. You can then copy the code and paste it into a text editor or your preferred IDE. #figma #uidesign #figmatutorial

    Embed Rive animated assets in SwiftUI Visit Rive website, click on Runtimes, select iOS and copy the GitHub URL. In Xcode, select File, then Add Packages, and enter the URL in the top right corner. Select Rive iOS and click Add Package. Import your Rive animated assets in your project. Import Rive Runtime. Replace the existing text with Rive ViewModel. For the file name, use Shapes which is part of the Rive Assets folder. To ensure the view renders correctly, add .view parentheses. To trigger an animation, add a new on tap gesture. Set button play, and the animation name inside the parentheses is going to be active just the way we set it in Rive Editor.     How you can use a variable font instead of a static font in Figma Static fonts are fixed to a single specific style and do not offer a wide range of options beyond bold or italic. On the other hand, variable fonts use one or more axes to provide a wider range of styles and give users more flexibility and control over the appearance of their text. If you are using the Figma desktop app, you can access any fonts that are already installed on your computer. You can click on the filter dropdown to display available variable fonts only. To customize a variable font, select the text. Click on the type settings icon in the right sidebar, then go to the variable tab. Here, you will find sliders corresponding to the available axes of variation. Adjust these sliders to fine-tune the appearance of the font. The text variable menu can also be accessed by clicking the font style dropdown menu and choosing variable font axes. Any font weight or style you choose using the slider will be added to the wait list, which is very useful for maintaining consistency. #figmatips #figmatutorial #uidesign

    Embed a 3D asset from Spline into Xcode Have Xcode 15 or later installed Create a new project. Choose iOS as Platform and App as Project Type. Enter your details, select SwiftUI for Interface and Swift for Language. Click Create to proceed. Under File menu, select Add Package Dependencies. Copy the URL from the Spline documentation, paste it into the search bar, and click Add Package to include it in your project. In your Spline project, navigate to the Export option, select Embed, and copy the SwiftUI code. Paste the code by replacing from Import SwiftUI to Before Preview. Your 3D asset is now fully operational. You can enhance your app by adding UI elements on top of the 3D assets using the Overlay feature.     Learn Figma's dark mode variables in seconds We will start with a light mode design and create a dark mode version from it. This initial setup is a one-time effort. Once your variables are in place, any additions or changes in light mode will automatically reflect in dark mode. The next step is to create the variables. Use the light mode as a reference and add a variable for each element. We can now add the dark mode and rename it accordingly. Rename the existing mode to "Light" to reflect the design settings we've applied so far. Now, apply the appropriate colors for the dark mode version to the variables created. The next step is to replace the color selections with our variable names. Click on the four dots icon and assign each component its respective variable that we've created. You can see that now we can drag it in and out of the frame, and it will automatically switch between the two modes, showcasing the versatility of our design in different conditions. #figmatutorial #figmatips #uidesign
