Douglas McCurdy Sydney Airport ✈️ as Pascan Aviation announces the launch of a new twice-daily route between Sydney and Halifax starting this fall. This exciting new route is a significant milestone for Cape Breton Island, reestablishing our connection to Halifax and beyond. It opens up new opportunities for travellers, making it easier for visitors to experience our stunning landscapes, vibrant culture and world-class events. The enhanced accessibility is expected to boost tourism and facilitate hosting more events on the Island, bringing substantial economic benefits to our region. Destination Cape Breton is part of the Nova Scotia delegation participating in Rendezvous Canada this week in Edmonton. We have a full schedule of meetings with tour operators and media, all designed to bring more business to the Island. We also joined the launch of Destination Canada’s new ‘A World of Opportunity’ Tourism Strategy.
