EDI's Patrick Audet and Mike Setterington will be attending the Society of Ecological Restoration North American Conference (SERNAC) on October 28 to November 1 in Vancouver. Over the years, Mike has been Patrick's mentor at EDI and has encouraged Patrick to mentor others. As a result of this encouragement, Patrick is acting as a mentor at a special event on October 31 at the conference. Patrick will also be giving a presentation entitled: Restoring the North - Current Challenges and Practices in Arctic and Boreal Terrestrial Restoration. Be sure to check it out! Wade has joined the EDI team in Saskatoon as a vegetation ecologist. He has 27 years of experience conducting biological surveys, obtaining environmental approvals, conducting permitting activities, and developing mitigation plans. Wade has completed a range of tasks over the years including environmental monitoring, protection planning, habitat compensation, reclamation and restoration, environmental impact assessments, and wetland development and reclamation.
