Enbridge Gas Utah, Wyoming and Idaho welcomed local businesses and key industrial partners to its annual Transportation Customer Meeting at the Hale Center Theater in Sandy, Utah. This year's event marked an important milestone for the company as it introduced itself under its new name, transitioning from Dominion Energy to Enbridge Gas. The meeting provided an opportunity for commercial customers to engage directly with Enbridge Gas’s operations team, discussing key energy updates and strategies aimed at empowering customers to make informed choices about their energy usage. Among the highlights was a special address by Utah Gov. Spencer Cox, who spoke to the role of natural gas in the community and its critical importance to Utah's energy future. Gov. Cox noted the essential role of both natural gas and coal in supporting decarbonization efforts, remarking, "We're fortunate to have both natural gas and coal facilities … If you're committed to decarbonization and making the planet healthier, utilizing these fossil fuel resources from the United States is a key part of that process." Enbridge Gas, as the local utility, continues to focus on enhancing relationships with local businesses, industries, and community leaders. Judd Cook, Vice President and General Manager Enbridge Gas Utah, Wyoming and Idaho, emphasized the importance of these connections, stating, "We're thrilled to have hosted our annual Transportation Customer Meeting, which provided a valuable opportunity to share important updates and insights that help our customers make informed energy decisions. This year, our Integrity and Risk team is publishing four papers at the IPC highlighting its work and industry contributions.
