We were pleased to host such a busy #EvolveUX gathering in our office! It was a great turnout and a wonderful selection of sessions. Thanks again to the speakers: ⚕️Annika Oeser spoke about #DesignSystems, showcasing our design of health authority sites. She then had two gracious audience volunteers do usability testing live! 😜 Cindy Lai, David Chabot 🏃Navid NikouGoftar presented an evergreen app for sports meetups, with templates for specific sports disciplines 🏸⚽🥅. The audience had thoughtful ideas on including how many people can join and integrating a weather app (🧠 Yuliana). 👾Anton Morrison of the Mogul Group shared a striking site for Exceptional ALIEN, in refreshing black and blue tones. It's a platform collecting cool and unique experiences. Their interactive map is complete with 💎gems - local experiences that are curated by influencers. 🧶Gregory Frank asked for audience design ideas to inspire a digital upgrade for his family business. He showcased a B2B site of their yarn sourcing company, which has been busy since long before the internet. 🌱 Last but not least, Lorenzo Barbaccia introduced a green flight app for eco-conscious travelers. It helps book flights and offset one's carbon footprint with credits, just as you pay (in a #sustainable way that's embedded in the platform). Sad you missed it? 🚀 What an incredible week at #DrupalGovCon! With 500+ attendees and countless connections made, this volunteer-run event truly set the bar high. 🎩👌In stately halls of the University of Maryland, it rang especially true that Drupal for government is powerful and deeply impactful. Simon Morvan and Adrienne Smith presented on our Planned Parenthood Direct, Inc. project in Capitol Hill’s orbit, which includes the 🦅 insiders who make reproductive rights decisions for over 335 million people. Yue Lu and Adrienne delivered the #DesignSystems insights session to an audience where many are developing and implementing the #USWDS.
