About us
Femtum is a Canadian manufacturer of mid-infrared fiber lasers for material processing and fundamental photonics. Thanks to its unique and proprietary technologies, the mid-IR spectral region (2.8-3.5 microns) has never been so accessible. We offer mid-IR pulsed fiber lasers, fiber amplifier (fs to CW), and tunable sources. Scientific applications includes : supercontinuum generation, non-linear optics, quantum optics, spectroscopy, FTIR, remote sensing, microscopy. Industrial applications includes : micromachining, micro-cutting, micro-drilling. micro-welding, laser etching, laser stripping, polymer processing (PET, PMMA, Polyimide, PP. PC), tissue ablation, etc.
