Each year, September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day. The day honours the children who never returned home and survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process. Last week Fengate celebrated its 50th anniversary with a special event at the Globe & Mail Centre, honouring the company’s legacy and future with family, friends, its closest partners, supporters and staff.   It's been an incredible 50-year journey. Fengate launched its inaugural Sustainability Report this week.
