What if we told you that women’s health data hasn’t truly advanced since the 1970s? It's a staggering reality: while detailed bio-marker data has been meticulously gathered for livestock, critical data on women’s health remains woefully behind. Heart disease, hormonal health, and conditions like PCOS still lack the targeted research needed to properly diagnose and treat women’s unique health journeys. At Fibra, we’re tired of this status quo. We’re a woman-led startup dedicated to reshaping how women experience healthcare, starting with something as familiar as underwear. Our smart underwear monitors real-time bio-markers linked to fertility and hormonal health, giving women insights they've been denied for far too long. But we know this is just one step - real change demands a collective effort, with everyone from policymakers to the private sector investing in health equality. President Biden’s recent $12 billion funding commitment to women’s health research is promising, but we're only just scratching the surface. Bridging a decades-long data gap calls for an ongoing commitment across sectors, so every woman has access to the data she deserves. Fibra is just one piece of the puzzle, but we’re here to lead the charge and inspire others to prioritize women’s health with the urgency it deserves.
