Quick Update: Binance vs SEC Case — Here are the recent developments in the Binance case. 🔍 A lot of noise will pop up from time to time on lawsuit updates, especially those regarding lawsuits in crypto. Don’t let the misleading headlines misinform you. Here's what happened: 1️⃣ Court granted SEC's motion to amend the complaint 2️⃣ New case management schedule extends to 2026 👉 So a motion to amend was granted and a new case management schedule was set. Here's how to think about this: 1. This is routine in federal court 2. These motions are typically granted 3. Carries minimal significance 4. Federal court cases generally take years to complete - especially civil ones 5. The 2026 timeline is not surprising or unusual We should expect further delays in the case as the discovery process ensues. Despite headlines suggesting otherwise, these developments are procedurally normal and expected in federal litigation of this complexity. #BinanceCase #SECRegulation #CryptoLaw

This is yet another example of the US falling behind other countries. While the SEC lags in ETF approvals, VanEck is able to excel in Europe and offer staking from its ETN product. The contrast couldn't be clearer. 🇪🇺 In Europe: → VanEck launches Solana ETN with staking rewards → Daily reinvestment of staking returns → Innovation-friendly regulatory environment → $74M product already trading on Euronext Amsterdam 🇺🇸 Meanwhile in the US: → Still awaiting basic Solana ETF approval → Staking rewards are not permitted in ETF products → Innovation stifled by regulatory uncertainty The US continues to fall behind other jurisdictions in crypto innovation. We shouldn't just be keeping pace—we should be setting the standard for thoughtful regulation that embraces innovation while protecting investors.
