Join us for lunch Mon, June 10th in Prince George.👇 ✅ Did you know that the FNBDA now has over 60 member organizations? (Starting to get close to 70). ✅ Did you know membership in the FNBDA is free for First Nation-owned Development Corporations? (it is!) Collectively, membership in the FNBDA covers over 120 First Nations in BC (and still growing). If you are an FNBDA member, part of a First Nations-owned Development Corporation, or part of a First Nation Economic Development team. Consider joining us for lunch and information sharing in Prince George on Monday, June 10th. A chance to connect with friends, colleagues, and hear from other Development Corporations. Plus, receive updates on the First Nations Business Development Association (FNBDA) from Managing Director Michael Bonshor. It's been a busy year with the FNBDA, including: 👉 a partnership agreement with Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University to develop and deliver Micro-credential courses focussed on increasing capacity for First Nation-owned Development Corporations in BC 👉 a new Collaboration Agreement with the Province of BC's Job, Economic Development and Innovation (JEDI) Ministry 👉 a Partnership Agreement with Procurement Assistance Canada and Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) (Pacific Region) 👉 Regional Business Liaison positions funded in 2023/24 by Northern Development Initiative Trust and Island Coastal Economic Trust The lunch and information session is scheduled from 12-3 pm with the venue confirmed once you RSVP (deadline is end of day today).
