Rick Clayton reçoit le prix du bénévolat McWane Canada 2024 ! Rick Clayton est le lauréat du prix du bénévolat McWane Canada 2024 de cette année. Rick a consacré son temps et son énergie à soutenir la communauté des sans-abri à Saint John. Il est en première ligne, ayant un impact direct en passant chaque samedi après-midi à fournir de la nourriture, des vêtements et d'autres articles essentiels à ceux dans le besoin. Rick va au-delà en écoutant leurs histoires et leurs luttes, offrant des mots d'inspiration et d'espoir. En plus de son travail auprès des sans-abri, Rick est un donneur de sang régulier depuis 20 ans et fait des contributions régulières de son salaire à la soupe populaire locale. Nous apprécions profondément le dévouement continu de Rick et ses efforts. En signe de notre gratitude, il a reçu un prix en son honneur ainsi qu'un don de 1000 $ à une organisation caritative de son choix. Rick Clayton Receives the McWane Canada 2024 Volunteer Award! Rick Clayton is the recipient of this year's McWane Canada 2024 Volunteer Award. Rick has dedicated his time and energy to supporting the homeless community in Saint John. He is on the front lines, making a direct impact by spending every Saturday afternoon providing food, clothing, and other essentials to those in need. Rick goes above and beyond by listening to their stories and struggles, offering words of inspiration and hope. In addition to his work with the homeless, Rick has been a consistent blood donor for the past 20 years and makes regular contributions from his pay to the local soup kitchen. We deeply appreciate Rick's ongoing dedication and efforts. Le 23 février 2024 a eu lieu à St-Hyacinthe, le tournoi de hockey annuel de Real Huot inc. McWane Canada est heureux d’avoir commandité l’équipe Rive Nord. Quatre équipes se sont affronté dans un mini tournoi ou plus de 60 personnes étaient présentes. (Rive-Sud, Rive-Nord, Québec et Estrie) Ce fut une belle occasion pour discuter, échanger et se faire de nouvelles connaissances. Merci à Real Huot inc pour l’organisation de cette belle journée! On February 23rd, 2024, the annual hockey tournament of Real Huot Inc. took place in St-Hyacinthe. McWane Canada is proud to have sponsored the North Shore team. Four teams competed in a mini-tournament where over 60 people were in attendance. (North Shore, South Shore, Quebec, and Eastern Townships). It was a great opportunity to engage in discussions, exchange ideas, and make new connections. 🌟 Ensemble, Pour un Impact Positif! 🌟 Nous sommes fiers de nos représentants de l'Ontario, Chris Montador et Carlos Ferreira, qui ont récemment fait du bénévolat aux côtés de notre fournisseur Next Plumbing and Hydronics Supply au Daily Bread Food Bank à Toronto le 7 mai dernier. Saviez-vous que, au cours de la dernière année, les visites aux banques alimentaires de Toronto ont augmenté de 51 %, atteignant un chiffre impressionnant de 2,53 millions? Étonnamment, près d'une visite sur quatre a été effectuée par des enfants et des jeunes. Malgré cela, la demande croissante a poussé le Daily Bread Food Bank à dépenser 14 fois plus pour la nourriture chaque mois par rapport aux niveaux d'avant la pandémie. Ils ont distribué plus de 27,95 millions de livres de nourriture, marquant une augmentation de 50 % par rapport à l'année précédente. Did you know that over the past year, visits to Toronto food banks have surged by 51%, reaching an impressive 2.53 million? Surprisingly, nearly one in four visits were made by children and youth. Despite this, rising demand has prompted the Daily Bread Food Bank to spend 14 times more on food each month compared to pre-pandemic levels. They have distributed over 27.95 million pounds of food, marking a 50% increase from the previous year. Nous sommes fiers de déclarer que nos produits sont entièrement recyclables, ce qui témoigne de notre engagement envers la durabilité environnementale.  Pour donner une idée de notre impact, considérons ceci : une voiture typique pèse environ 4000 livres.
