I've started using Fathom AI as a meeting note-taker (thanks Scott King for the intro) and I had to find myself wondering how long it's been around and why I didn't find it earlier. For those out of the loop, AI note-taking is getting huge now, may have heard of Otter.ai or something similar, it will add itself to your meetings and listen to the conversation and do some amazing things: - It will send you and your participants a succinct overview, key points, and next steps in note form of your entire conversation - It removes any small talk - It endeavours to understand all the words being said (sometimes it misses: yesterday it heard Benevity as "Padevity") - Fathom's Mac client has a persistent systray upcoming meeting reminder which has saved me at least once since installing There's probably a lot more it can do once I get past the surface but this alone is worth the price of admission. The beauty of all of this is allows you to focus on the conversation as opposed to finding the headspace to take a note, and lose your momentum of understanding.
