At the Gateway to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (GEDI) Hub, we help Alberta workplaces build capacity, confidence, and community to attract and engage diverse talent while developing their EDI capacity and sustainable workforce strategies. We offer group and individual training and consultations through our team of experienced Diversity and Engagement Consultants virtually and in person. As a ‘one-stop shop’ resource centre, we work with workplaces to: - build capacity and knowledge in workplace EDI - prepare workplaces for the future using proven and sustainable workforce strategies - connect workplaces to diverse job seekers through a network of Alberta Service Providers The GEDI-Hub is a Gateway Association initiative, funded by the Government of Canada and is offered to workplaces for free.

DEAM is a time to raise awareness, educate, and promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workforce. Persons with disabilities face barriers to employment, and DEAM provides an opportunity for employers, service providers, and all Canadians to come together to break down these barriers and build a more inclusive economy. Throughout the month of October, the DEAM Alberta Provincial Committee will host a variety of events, panel discussions, and activities—both in-person and virtual—focused on employment inclusion for people with disabilities.
