In winter 2024, Gerry Enns Contracting wrapped up construction on The Paramount Project, a milestone development with BC Housing—the largest by Chilliwack Community Services in its nearly 100-year history. The six-storey, mixed-use structure was a joint affordable housing project built using Step Code 4, EcoPact concrete and sustainable wood construction. The Paramount connects young adults leaving the child welfare system with seniors in the community, with units ranging from deep subsidy to under-market rental prices.
