On Thursday, October 31, 2024, the #29th Coordination Meeting of the Arab Codex Contact Points was held virtually. The meeting focused on preparing for the upcoming #47th session of the Codex Alimentarius Commission(CAC47). Representatives from several Arab countries actively participated in the meeting, including Jordan, UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Lebanon, Libya, and Yemen alongside representatives from the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization, and Mining Organization AIDSMO LAS, Global Food Regulatory Science Society (GFoRSS) and the GCC Standardization Organization (GSO) هيئة التقييس الخليجية *The Arab Codex Initiative is a capacity-building program funded by the US Codex Office USDA, with the aim to enhance Codex capacities in the Arab region. #Arab_Codex_Initiative
